OUT OF STOCK
One of the most commonly used ESC's for rock crawling. Use on both dual motor clodbuster trucks and the smaller 2.2 TLT-1 trucks.

Hitec 5995TG Robot Servo - Ultra High Torque
$114.99
IN STOCK
333 oz/in of torque @ 6 volts makes this one of the most powerful servos for the larger scale rock crawlers.
180 degrees of rotation is useful to help pre-load the servo saver. Best if used with a radio that has End Point Adjustment (EPA) to adjust the travel of the servo. The best choice for a competition super class (16" wheelbase) rig. If using two of these, you should add a voltage regulator to your system (part #ACC234) here. See the tutorial bellow on how to wire in your voltage regulator. Some custom tech info here.
Hitec 5955TG Robot Servo - Ultra High Torque
$114.99
IN STOCK
333 oz/in of torque @ 6 volts makes this one of the most powerful servos for the larger scale rock crawlers.
90 degrees of rotation allows you to drop this servo in and not worry about limiting the 180 degrees like the 5995TG servo. Aluminum heat-sink case. If using two of these, you should add a voltage regulator to your system (part #ACC234) here. See the tutorial bellow on how to wire in your voltage regulator. Some custom tech info here.
Airtronics 94359Z Ultra High Torque
$139.99
IN STOCK
200 oz/in of torque @ 6 volts. Metal heat sink case. 90 degrees of rotation means you don't need to use End Point Adjustments.
Just drop this in your crawler for tons of steering power. If using two of these, you should add a voltage regulator to your system (part #ACC234) here.
Hitec 5645MG
$54.99

164.2 oz/in of torque at 6 volts. 90 degrees of travel.
Still a good servo for larger scale trucks but ideal for 2.2 smaller scaled vehicles.
Hitec 645mg

Tutorial - Wiring up a voltage regulator for high torque servo systems
You want to use a voltage regulator anytime you have two servos that draw allot of power. The robot servos together probably draw 5 amps or more when at full power. This is too much for the tekin rebel 2 and other esc's, so you need something to help with the power requirements of the servos. You only use one voltage regulator. The "male" end of the regulator will plug directly into the battery port of your receiver. The other end wires directly into the battery connector on the esc. The cleanest way to do this is to wire a male servo lead to the battery connector, then just plug the female end of the voltage regulator into the lead on the battery connector.
